It is situated in central North America between Canada and Mexico. It is the 3rd most populous country in the world. USA is also a founding member of the United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, OAS, NATO, and other international organizations. It is a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. Washington DC being the capital, it is the highly developed country and also possess the world’s largest economy by nominal GDP.

Regarding the climatic condition, USA has a temperate climate. It experiences hot and dry summers, whereas chilled winters. As because USA is huge in area, the climate varies from region to region due to changes in latitude and other geographical features.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

A student needs to apply for a Visa, in the VFS. The below stated are the eligibility criteria to get a Student Visa for USA.

 

You should have a Passport (valid for at least six months beyond your period of stay in the US) .
Acceptance at a SEVP approved school.
Your Form I-20.
Application fee payment for the SEVIS.
Non-immigrant visa application and the Form DS-160 confirmation page.
Proof of adequate funds to pay your tuition fees and living expenses.
Police Certificate to prove that you don’t have a criminal record.
Complete Medical certificate.
Visa Application Form along with the fees payment receipt of the University.
Photograph as per measurement.
Academic preparation documents such as transcripts, diplomas, degrees or certificates.
Evidence that you will leave the US completion of your course. This can be in the form of an air ticket out of the US to your home country.
You may also have to appear for a personal interview at the US embassy or consulate if required.

APPROX COST OF EDUCATION & LIVING

The tuition fees for undergraduate courses ranges between $15,000 and $20,000 approx and for MS program it can range between $7000 to $21,000 and it can go more depending on the school and the program you apply.

The cost of living for a month can vary anywhere from $300 to $1000 approx, though it depends on your lifestyle and requirements. Students are generally allowed to work for 40 hours a week. The pay can be approximately $7.00 to $9.00 per hour or more depending on one’s skill.
