CLIMATIC CONDITION:

The climate is very moderate as it is influenced by the Atlantic Ocean. It experiences a cool and moist climate with abundant rainfall. EDUCATION IN IRELAND:

Ireland is a very highly ranked country for quality education. A degree from this country is accredited & equally recognized in other European countries. It has been a centre of learning and a popular destination for international students. All educational documents starting from 10th boards, passport and other ID proofs, a brief CV, complete medical examination certificate, and motivation letter is all you need, to apply for a certain course. But you must have at least 60% in 12th and completed 18 years of age before you choose to study in Ireland. Proficiency of English language is tested through IELTS/TOEFL. Depending on your English proficiency a variety of jobs are available here, which can be done alongside your studies. Part-time work of 20 hrs per week is allowed for students during the study period and 40 hrs during holiday periods. Staying legally here for a period of at least 5 years gives you the opportunity of grabbing a PR.

VISA PROCESS:

Study visa in Ireland depends on the term of your course. If you wish to study here for less than 3 months, you need to apply for a C-study visa, whereas a D study visa if your course is more than 3 months. Because it is a lengthy process, one needs to start the same after receiving the conditional acceptance letter from the respective institution and book an appointment with the nearest embassy. APPROX COST OF EDUCATION & LIVING:

Ireland is the seventh most expensive country in Europe. Tuition fees here varies from Courses and Universities. Around EUR 6000 – 12000EUR/year for UG degree courses and 6500 – 15000EUR/year for PG courses can be mentioned for an idea. Cost of living for a student per year starts from EUR 7000 – 12000 depending on the status of living. Apartments on sharing basis are available here, as well as hostels within budget. Food in Ireland is approx 32EUR per day. Breakfast is a little pocket friendly compared to lunch and dinner. Meal per person starts at 13EUR approx.
